Hezbollah and our MP's

According to this morning's news, Liberal MP Borys Wrzesnewskyj is furiously denying reports that he thinks Hezbollah should be removed from Canada's terror list. In an article at Canada.com yesterday, Wrzesnewskyj, NDP MP Peggy Nash and Bloc Quebecois MP Maria Moureni indicated that they felt Canada's current treatment of Hezbollah was somehow unfair. Moureni even went so far as to suggest that our support for Israel during the war, which Hezbollah started, was a shame.
What a brave and honourable country we live in.
This is why terrorist groups will never really take us seriously, why they will never respect us. Our would be leaders are so weak-willed. It's no wonder Hezbollah can so easily twist the media... and our sentiments. It's a shame. We don't have the intestinal fortitude of our ancestors.

are you claiming that Wrzesnewskyj is lying? my understanding is that he feels it's necessary to have hezbollah at the table if any meaningful steps towards peace are desired. this isn't about canada supporting terrorism, it's about working together to help bring peace to a region that so desparately needs it. right or wrong, hezbollah has tremendous support in southern lebanon and their elected politicians should be included in any discussions.
btw, this desire to be taken seriously by terrorists...would that be satisfied by a few bombs going off in distant cities like toronto or montreal? far enough away so you could publicly express your horror but secretly feel vindicated?

Is Boris the MP who was quoted by the world media from Lebanon as saying "he is ashamed to be a Canadian"?

Are these 3 MPs the ones who told the Lebanese president that Stephen Harper commented on the first day of the war, before major action, that Israel had responded to the Hezzie murder and kidnapping and shelling of Israeil with 500 bombs in a "measured" way so as to have the Lebanese mock Canada?

Is Boris the same DoDo bird who claimed that Canada has a "Pearonian" legacy in peace keeping thinking the world is the same now as it was 50 years ago?

These same MPs who were taken on the propaganda tour by Hezzbola "citizens" - the same ones who retrieved bodies of children who died for other reasons from the morgue; burying the bodies as stage props for the media puppets and then spending 4 hours posing the bodies as propaganda props for maximum shcok value?

The same MPs who are "shocked" tto see homes bombed - the same homes where the Hezzies PAID RENT to the occupants to store and fire rockets from. The same homes that were military targets because they were rocket sites.

The same three MPs who have now made all Canadians the laughing stock of the world for being stupid enough to be manipulated into becoming terrorists apologists because they FELL FOR the propaganda.

Sheeshhhhh.

I didn't. But, since you mention it, yes he is lying... since we have his original quote.
my understanding is that he feels it's necessary to have hezbollah at the table if any meaningful steps towards peace are desired.
Ha ha ha.
Oh wait. You were being serious, weren't you?
Read my print: Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. They are NOT a government nor do they in ANY CAPACITY WHATSOEVER represent a nation. They don't get to sit at any table and discuss peace. They get jail time and possibly execution.
this isn't about canada supporting terrorism, it's about working together to help bring peace to a region that so desparately needs it.
Exactly. So how does supporting or working with Hezbollah further this goal?
As for your closing comment, it's not worth replying to. Thinly veiled ad hominem is not worth my time. If you have a point, please make it quickly.

And yes Maria, those are exactly the MP's I meant. I am glad you pointed all that out, as I was not aware of some of it.

These 3-Amigo's fail to understand that if you claim to be against terrorism or violence towards children and females, but how do you react when you see it going on.
Touring Lebanon under the control of people in the damaged areas is a bad way to declare a unbias Fact-Finding mission that doesn't include seeing the damage done in the other Nation connected to the conflict.

Ironically, the Facts are that 40% of the victims in Israel were either Arabs or non-Jewish Israelis, Hezbollah attacked towns with mixed population and they only made up around 20% of Israels total population but 40% of the victims as mentioned above.
